About Combe Farm

The Harris family celebrates over 60 years at Combe farm and 30 years of breeding Arabian horses.
People who visit the farm are always impressed by the gentle nature and extreme friendliness of all our horses, but particularly the mares and foals. The horses are kept in a natural environment within their own family herds where they become educated by their elders and learn to become well-adjusted members of their large family groups. This forms a solid foundation for their future training where they benefit further from the consistency and dedication of the staff. Patience, respect, quietness and empathy are all key aspects in their training, resulting in relaxed and happy horses.
The stud represents five generations within the breeding programme. Each year we breed around ten foals, which are then produced for showing, endurance and pleasure. Our horses have won international endurance events but are probably better known for their enormous success in the show ring, including National show champions and World Champion stallion Rumak.
